What legal practice areas are you looking for?
We are looking for all legal practice areas. We may already have someone writing courses in your preferred area though. We'd have to explore with you and our existing contributor the topics so avoid a clash.
Do I have to be a qualified lawyer to take part?
Not necessarily. You have to be experienced and accomplished in your field of practice with the relevant qualifications and credentials to back it up.
How do I get paid?
Our preferred method is for you to invoice us and we will pay you by BACs payment. However, we can explore other alternatives with you.
How much do I get paid?
This is up to the both of us. You may have your own preferred rates for your services. However, we will always explore the right options with you and agree a suitable value that works for us both.
How long do I have to have worked in the industry for?
We don't have any restrictions on how long you have practiced for, just as long as you have the necessary knowledge of the practice area you want to provide content for.
Is there an interview or application process?
Not. We want to have an open conversation with you about you experience and knowledge, just to be sure that you are right for what we are looking for. You aren't interviewed or competing in any way.
What about Intellectual Property? Will I won the rights?
It depends. Sometimes we may do a slightly different agreement with you whereby you own the IP but exclusively license it to us to use. We could also buy this from you as part of the fee agreed so that we become the IP owners instead. Regardless we will openly discuss this with you.
How much time do I need to commit?
This depends on you and how much you want to get out of it. To write a course it can take on avergage 2-3hrs. You will also need to share social media and marketing content of your courses to. This can vary depending how much and often you want to share your courses.
