Beyond the courtroom: Using mediation in legal practice

Write your awesome label here.

Law in a nutshell

“I’m going to have my day in court and tell them what I think of them!” That may well be the intention, but it can be very expensive, a judge may not allow that to happen, and the outcome may not be assured. Mediation offers a voluntary alternative to litigation, court cases or other formal processes, allowing parties to reach a legally binding settlement in a typically day-long process facilitated by a mediator.

What's covered?

An introduction to mediation including why and where it is used, the benefits it has on the parties involved and deciding on when to use it in practice.
